Many of us cut our teeth on two strokes. I still consider the 81 Maico 490 the best race bike I ever owned. Perhaps because I was younger and soooo much faster then, at least in my mind. Whether it's the cost, complexity, weight or some other obscure reason there seems to be renewed interest in two strokes. This picture appears in the July issue of Dirt Bike magazine.
