Cairoli on a superb seventh overall at the British GP

 

If it was to be the final time British fans got to watch a soon to be 40 year Antonio Cairoli race a GP in person, it was a memorable one! The Italian, who is one of the best to ever do it, underlined why he us one of the greatest of all time by finishing seventh overall with 7-8 finishes at the British GP.Cairoli lost none of his fight and still had a lot of speed as he showed just how good rhe Ducati was for any remaining doubters.

Cairoli saiid: “Nice to be back in matterly my first time here was in the spring of 2006 for an mx2 race. Happy about the riding despite a hard hit on my knee yesterday on the time practice, an today not feeling the best  Moto 1 p7 with no front brake after a hit trying to make a pass on another rider. Moto 2 p8 a bit out of energy  Overall p7  Thank you British Fans always a pleasure ♥️#tc222 #mxgp #raceday #race #uk”
